We are very excited to announce that The Lower Cape Fear Historical Society, a 501(c)3 non-profit, has partnered with Auction Orange to host their very first Online Benefit Auction.  This auction will happen in December and coincide with their annual Old Wilmington by Candlelight Walking Tour which is their largest fundraiser of the year.  All the proceeds from the auction will go directly to The Lower Cape Fear Historical Society.  Perfect for your holiday shopping while supporting local history.  

The auction includes jewelry, gift certificates to local restaurants and shops, City Club Annual Membership, Modified Irish Chain King-size Quilt, Evolve Freediving Course, Historic Plaque Research, gift baskets, local art work and more.

First Lots Close: SUNDAY, December 14th at 6:00PM, then one lot every 20 seconds thereafter.  Live bidding catalog begins at 5:30 pm.  Soft Close Feature - Any lot receiving a bid with less than 2 minutes left will have 2 more minutes added to the time remaining.

The Lower Cape Fear Historical Society is pleased to announce our annual Old Wilmington by Candlelight Walking Tour.

This year's event will feature more than a dozen homes and churches located in Historic Downtown Wilmington.

The tours will be held on Saturday, December 6th from 4 - 8 p.m. and Sunday, December 7th from 1 - 5 p.m. On both days, visitors can choose their route between the included sites. At each stop, docents will guide you inside or around the property to share the history of the structure and to enjoy the holiday decor.

Tickets are $50 each and proceeds go directly to support the Lower Cape Fear Historical Society, a 501(c)3 non-profit. This is our main annual fundraiser and we sincerely appreciate your support.
